Caring for the Suffering with Love and Compassion

Let us prepare for the bleak years ahead, as Jesus mentions, nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Many people will lose their homes, and most of these victims are unreached people. MISSION PATHWAY sets up CARING FUND to shares God's love and care with the unreached people. We partner with different Christian organizations and frontline workers to provide emergency funding to those in needs.

Sharing God’s Provisions in Gaza

Feeding the Hungry in Gaza: Over 3,000 Hot Meals Served in One Week

Last few weeks, with your enthusiastic support, we successfully distributed 1,000 hot rice meals in the south of the Gaza Strip. Signs at the distribution points state "Donated by Gaza Baptist Church". It ensures that those receiving relief know it comes from the Church and the Christian community, as a way to show God's love and provision. This is a tangible expression of how we serve others through our faith, reflecting God's compassion and care for those in need.

We are currently working on continuing to support the people in our church community. We are providing cash assistance to 290 families, offering $114 per family to help them purchase necessities. This is particularly vital as the churches are only able to provide one meal every 48 hours. We are preparing to distribute winter clothing to families, having provided summer clothing just a few months ago.

In addition, our team is working on increasing the number of hot meals available to both the churches and the wider community, ensuring more people receive the nourishment they desperately need.

Many Christian Gazan families have been affected by the current war. We are actively supporting about 100 of them in the West Bank with relief and education. Many of these families previously worked in Israel but are now struggling to provide for their children.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your esteemed church's participation at our To Gaza With Love's Fundraising campaign . Your donation has not only helped us meet our goal, but also keep the lights on, a roof overhead, and food on the table for every family in need in Gaza.

As of November 13, 2024, To Gaza With Love has raised USD100,000.

We appreciate your continued interest and concern at Mission Pathway's Mercy and Care Ministries. We will keep you update, and spread God's love to those in need.

Your prayers and support are crucial as we work to meet these urgent needs.

Continuing Serving Gaza Together

Feeding the Hungry in Gaza: Over 3,000 Hot Meals Served in One Week

In the past seven days, we have provided over 3,000 hot meals to those in desperate need across the south, middle, and north of Gaza. Through your support and God's grace, we’ve been able to reach families in these areas, offering them nourishment and hope in these challenging times.

On August 15th, we served hot meals, including rice and chicken, to around 1,000 people in the middle part of Gaza (Deir Balah). In the North of Gaza we were able to provide another 400 people with meals. This initiative, under the umbrella of Gaza Baptist Church, is not only about feeding the hungry but also about demonstrating the love and care of the Christian community to those in need.

In the South of Gaza, another 1,800 people received hot meals, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and supporters. Praise the Lord! These efforts are a testament to our mission to serve others and show that Christians truly care.

On August 17, we provided clean drinking water in Deir Balah, a refuge for families constantly on the move. This vital resource is crucial for the well-being of these displaced individuals, and we are grateful for the opportunity to meet this basic need.

Signs at the distribution points similarly note that this provision is "Donated from Gaza Baptist Church" and sometimes include "The Presbyterian Church in Egypt." as well.

Your support and prayers are vital as we continue to provide relief and hope to the people of Gaza. Together, we can make a difference and be a source of blessing in their lives.

Thank you, Lord, for a member who has offered to provide $20,000 as a matching fund at a 1:1 ratio. Please donate generously. We send 100% of donations without any administrative fees. We earnestly request your participation in bringing the Lord's love to Gaza.

To GAZA with Love

On October 7, 2023, a major conflict erupted in the Gaza Strip when Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups launched a large-scale attack on southern Israel, resulting in over 1,200 deaths and the abduction of over 200 hostages.

This incident triggered Israeli retaliatory attacks on Gaza and an ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, leading to significant suffering for people on both sides. According to United Nations data from July 6, the number of displaced people in Gaza had reached 1.9 million, accounting for 90% of the population. The conflict has severely damaged hospitals, schools, homes, and utilities, leading to extreme shortages of food, water, medical care, and basic necessities. A few months ago, a famine arose in the north due to blockades, causing the price of a 25kg bag of flour to skyrocket from US$10 to US$270. Although there has been some improvement, the population remains in deep distress.

Currently, refugees in Gaza urgently need the following assistance:

• Food and drinking water • Medical aid • Shelter • Trauma counseling

Crossroads Publications is aiming to raise US$100,000 to provide relief through Gaza's only evangelical church, Gaza Baptist Church. Our contact is Pastor Hanna Massad. In October 2007, one of Gaza Baptist Church's leaders, Rami Ayyad, was kidnapped and killed by unidentified militants. Following Ayyad's murder, church leaders, including Pastor Massad, left Gaza on government advice. Pastor Massad's family moved to Jordan, while five others relocated to the West Bank near Bethlehem.

Pastor Massad currently resides in the United States, where he conducts worship and pastoral care via Zoom. He and his team visit the church in Gaza and have established the Christian Mission to Gaza, which helps refugees in Gaza as well as Syrian and Iraqi refugees stranded in Jordan
